Overview

Nigel Gifford OBE is truly, a grand master of the world of adventure. He has been at the forefront of expeditions, exploration and adventure around the world for well over forty years.
Nigel's career in adventure began as a big wall rock climber. He then moved onto mountaineering and skydiving, making over 1000 descents. With his dynamic personality, Nigel has had a strong influence in the world of expeditions and leading cutting edge adventures.
Nigel also has a unique relationship with Mt Everest. Having been a high altitude climber of a successful expedition in 1976, he led his own expedition, through Tibet, to the remote Lho La of Everest. Nigel also organized the first ever, Everest Skydive in 2008, which introduced free-fall parachuting to the Himalayas. We are fortunate to know him since long and in 2004 we organized Kinner Kailash trekking for him in Kinnaur Himalaya.
Kinner Kailash trek
Mount Kinner Kailash (6500 Meters) Parikarma Trekking in Kinnaur is the finest adventure in Himachal Pradesh. Kinnaur surrounded by Tibet to the east; in the northeast corner of Himachal Pradesh, is about 235 km from Shimla. It holds three of the world's grand mountain ranges - the Zanskar, the Greater Himalaya and the Dhauladhar. Mount Kinner Kailash has religious significance for a huge "SHIVA LINGAM"- the representation of Lord Shiva which is a 79 feet vertical rock formation that resembles a Shiva lingam and changes color as the day passes. Like Mount Kailash in Tibet, this peak is also worshiped by both Hindu and Buddhist communities.
